The Dancing House

I found this shot on Webshots. According to the photographer:

This is the famous "Ginger and Fred" building, designed by Frank Gehry and a Czech architect. Ginger Rogers on the left, leaning into Fred Astaire on the right.

(The second architect is Vlado Milunic.)

Here's a link if you'd like to read more. I saw some interior shots of the building, and the view of the river (behind the photographer) and Prague from the top floor must be fantastic. There's a restaurant at the top. The challenge, I read, was to keep the same height of the local buildings, but it's an illusion as there are two extra floors. The sculpture at the top is representative of the other "hats" Gehry saw on the traditional buildings in Prague (Praha). If you look closely, you can see it looks like a wave, as that was the original inspiration.
