OMG

I just spent the ENTIRE day fiddling with my genealogy program. Relatives from all over the world are popping out on Facebook! I had to get it as straight as I could before I passed over any information. I finally figured out that to make the best readable charts I just did a "print screen" and made a .JPG file of the results. Much better for people to read.

YESTERDAY I went to the Oakville TEDx and met some wonderful people and watched several others give talks on stage. There was also a cellist (playing a Stradivarius), a singer, a pianist...and everyone was amazingly good. I spent some time today over at the website. I think the videos will be up next week. (Apparently there were 9000 people watching on the web?)

Are you familiar with TED? They hold meetings around the world and share ideas, and videotape them to share. Many fascinating things can be learned.

They showed this video about passion and music by Benjamin Zander yesterday, before the cellist played. (It was a good tie-in despite the video malfunctions). I like his theory of one-buttock playing! Please watch. You won't regret it.
