Bucket List

I started this list a few years ago. I think I shall show it to all of you, and amend things as I go. :)

  • Get my DNA done by Bryan Sykes (He wrote The Seven Daughters of Eve)
  • Eat at Canoe Restaurant in Toronto
  • Fly in a hang glider
  • Afford a tennis membership This should be "bring more physical tennis into your life."
  • Attend Wimbledon and gain access to walk on Centre Court
  • Attend the US Open
  • Attend the Australian Open
  • Attend the French Open
  • Meet Roger Federer
  • Have a nice chat with Roger Federer
  • Learn French
  • Learn German
  • Learn Spanish
  • Learn basic Hebrew
  • Learn basic Polish
  • Learn basic Ukranian
  • Learn to sing
  • Learn to swim properly
  • Learn to meditate (the forgiveness meditation)
  • Get a great camera to take pictures of flowers and sports stars
  • Learn how to play soccer
  • Play tennis on Centre Court (any slam will be fine!)
  • Take golf lessons
  • Get acupuncture for the first time
  • Go to a spa for a day
  • Get my IQ tested (Note: I am not sure I care about this after reading Outliers)
  • Bungee jump off of a bridge in New Zealand    visit New Zealand
  • Drink snake venom (not a priority!)
  • Eat live octopus (ibid.)
  • Ride in an hot air balloon
  • Travel to Australia
  • Travel through South America
  • Visit Asia
  • Work on a movie set (any capacity)
  • Write a book (fiction or non-fiction)
  • Do something nice for someone every day ("shining eyes!")
  • Go as far as I can with my family tree
  • Visit my relatives around the world
  • Finish what I start

That's a great and varied list.

I shouldn't have clicked that Link to Canoe Restaurant. Now I am hungry!

I am working on Canoe! I was thinking lunch with my nephew, who lives in Toronto. We hardly see each other anymore. :)

Wonderful items, which are no surprise to me as you are quite a remarkable lady. But, I must ask, why snake vemin and live octopus?

On the topic of National Geographic, I recently received a copy of National Geographic Expeditions which is a travel company affiliated with the organization. Wow, what amazing trips are included. Here's a link to the website: http://www.nationalgeographicexpeditions.com/home
My favorites are the different travels around the world on a private jet airplane. But since they cost around $65,000.00 per person, they will, alas, only remain in dream form. ;)

I wonder if $65,000 is enough to cover the cost of flying lessons?

The South American one is $46,950...much more affordable. ;)
