Ukiyo-e: Kitagawa Utamaro (1753--1806)

It looks like at least one of my Japanese tea mugs was inspired by the prints of Kitagawa Utamaro (wiki).

Those seem to be quite reasonable prices for 200 year old x-rated japanese porn.

LOL. I know! When I read a bit about this time period it was apparently quite normal to pass this art around in polite society.
